Our Team

Our doctors have a truly remarkable support staff. Our receptionists are always friendly and professional, our technicians and assistants are caring and compassionate, and every staff member is respectful and cognizant of the trust our clients have placed in us.

Every member of our team is highly trained in her position and cross-trained in every area of the hospital. Our clients routinely call our staff members with questions and concerns regarding their pets, and we welcome that contact. We feel that an open line of communication is essential our our relationship with our clients and for the well-being of our patients. David Renaud, DVM

Dr. David Renaud graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. Before attending vet school, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the Univeristy of Florida and then spent two years of Masters research in Microbiology. Dr. Renaud joined the practice in 1991, became a partner in the practice in 1992 and has been the practice owner since 2000. As well as being an avid supporter of the area’s youth, Dr. Renaud is also an active member of the Chiefland Rotary Club, the Chiefland Chamber of Commerce and Chiefland Elementary’s School Advisory Committee. Dr. Renaud enjoys fishing, traveling and spending time with his family and three cats (Annie, Budrick and Kurt).

Jennifer McHale, DVM

Dr. Jennifer McHale graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. She completed her undergraduate work at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania and also earned a Master’s degree in Dairy Production Medicine. Dr. McHale joined our staff in 2004, where her major concentration is small animal surgery. Dr. McHale enjoys spending time with her young family and her cats (Henry and Penelope), her dogs (Diane, Samantha and Berry), lots of chickens and a cow named Mary.
